About gift memberships
You can now buy garden memberships to some of our partner gardens as a gift.
When buying a membership as a gift, you can choose how many people are on the membership, and which of those people will be the primary recipient of the gift. On the date of your choice, they’ll receive a personalised activation email with easy steps to start using the membership.
Buying a gift membership
On the Candide website, find the garden for which you want to purchase a gift membership.
Click the ‘Buy tickets’ button.
Select the membership ticket type and scroll down to choose the number of tickets you want to be included in the membership.
Select the checkbox to “Give this membership as a gift” and then select ‘Continue’.
You will then be asked to enter the name and email address of the gift recipient. If buying for multiple people, choose the person you want to receive the personalised activation email.
They will be able to update these details later when they activate their membership but entering a valid email address will ensure that the activation email is sent successfully. Don’t worry if you get this wrong, our Support team will be happy to resend the email if necessary.
If you don’t know their email address, you can always enter your own address here and forward the activation email to the recipient later.
On the next page, choose the date you’d like the email to be sent. It will arrive in the very early morning, UK time, on that day.
You can choose any date in the next three months. Once selected, click ‘Continue’.
Enter your details. Enter your name as you’d like it to appear to the recipient on the activation email and during the activation process.
Then enter your email address (we’ll send your confirmation and payment receipt to this address), then click ‘Continue’.
Enter a gift message of up to 180 characters. This will be shown at the top of the activation email. Then click ‘Continue’.
Review the order and if necessary click the ‘Change’ buttons to go back and make amendments. Once you’re ready, click the “Confirm and checkout button”.
Enter your payment details and then click the ‘Pay’ button.
Once successful, you will receive an email confirming your purchase.
Cancelling a gift
If you decide to cancel the gifted membership, please contact our Support team to enquire about a refund.
